    No. He shoulda hired Alex Ariza because

    a) If they accused him of roiding they'd have to 1) say why they didn't do the same when Pacroid used Ariza and 2) they'd be bringing down Pacroid as well

    b) If the Mexiphobes didn't say anything because of a) it would eat at them real good to hold back

    LOL! :bukkake::bukkake::bukkake:

        the weight didnt seem to be a problem. he looked like he had more endurance in this fight than the one against trout. he also hasn't said anything about the weight affecting him so i dont think it made a difference. one thing about being drained is that your punch resistance takes a hit but that didnt appear to be the case. floyd isnt a huge puncher but he landed solid shots and while canelo did look weary in some parts, it didnt really look like floyd had him in major trouble at any point. it just looked more like canelo didnt want to fight any more because he kept getting punched in the face with nothing to show for it.

          And no mention that he weighed 1 and a half lbs. more for Trout and also ballooned up to 170 afterwards but looked great?

          Yeah, ok.

            He weighed in a pound under what he did for his previous weigh-in v Trout. Maybe the weight loss has always taken its toll, but Mayweather is the only guy so far who has been skilled enough to take advantage? Maybe cutting to 154 or below is why Canelo has stamina issues in the later rounds of his fights?

            I knew when Saul said that he believed he could outbox Mayweather that he was in trouble. When I saw how young his trainer was it only confirmed my thoughts. Kind of like Cotto "self training" for Pacquiao.

            Either way, I think he needs to reevaluate his career. If he isn't going to stay in shape between fights, he might need to move to middleweight. I think one of the Mayweathers would be an excellent trainer for him also.

            My $.02

              It was that jab. Canelo did have moments but Mayweather popped him with that jab a million times, every other punch was a jab snapping his head back.

                He didn't look tired. It's not like Floyd is a pressure fighter who makes you work. Alvarez was 1.5 lbs less than he was vs Trout at weigh in. His speed just looked slow because Floyd is just that much faster. At the end of the day, he didn't have a plan, didn't have a corner and didn't have the skills or mindset to beat Floyd. Again, like I said for a long time, nobody JMW and below beats Floyd. So unless we start talking about MW's, SMW's and or LHW's, there is nothing to talk about as who ever it is, people will cry about it.

                  I can tell when a guy is weight drained and Canelo was not weight drained. He had PLENTY of energy but science defuses energy and that is what Floyd did. Weight drained was the gaunt look Jones had in his face before the Tarver fight and the same hollow look Rios has had in a couple fights he has had. Canelo was not drained during training, the weigh-in, or the fight. When one guy is brilliant, the other guy is bound to not look as good. Canelo also indicated he simply lost to the better man.

                    No one thought that Floyd would flash the jab that much, that's what happened.

                      It wasn't a beat down at all, it was more like Olympic boxing, just connect to rack up points.

                      I'd like to see Canelo vs Cotto next
                      I've thought this before. Canelo would benefit greatly from having someone like Nacho in his corner. His handspeed is good for 154 and the instincts are there but his footwork is ugly to look at. Sometimes I think he's going to trip over his own feet. If you could combine JMM's skill with Canelos ability then you have a guy that can dominate the sport. I think Canelo needs to slow down a bit and fight guys like Molina, Ishe Smith, even Angulo if he can beat those guys and improve in the next year he can face guys like Lara, Cotto or rematch Trout before moving up to 160 and taking another shot at being a top p4p fighter.
