Here is proof Canelo was not drained! Canelo vs Trout - Canelo threw 431 punches. Canelo vs Floyd - Canelo threw 526 punches. QUESTIONS? JMM is full of crap. And so is anyone else who thinks he was drained. I think this fight will make Floyd realize he won't ever need a Catchweight again because in this case, it made no difference. Nothing wrong with Canelo's game plan. He landed more in the middle of the ring than when he had Floyd against the ropes so that means his plan was the right choice, he just wasn't as good as Floyd, it is that simple! If he had been more aggressive, he would have tired more and eaten more right hands. Canelo fought a smart fight but to beat a genius you have to be a genius or overwhelm them and Canelo was not equipped with either capabilities.

Fighters who are drained DONT THROW the same number of punches or more that they do when they are not, period! Anyone who says Floyd barely won is delusional.
