I disagree with a lot of people I think Khan does have a chance of beating Floyd. Lets say out of 10 fights between them Khan wins 2 of them. I think it's that kind of chance.

I think only 2 types of boxers beat Floyd - fast and/or skillful ones who can outbox him (peak Pacquiao was possibly one, hence why he didnt get the chance), and power punchers who can land a freak lucky punch (yes it could happen, Mosley tagged him pretty good). Floyd is slower now and Khan is very fast. Lets not forget Khan would NOT be getting this chance if his recent record was better - because then Floyd would see him as a real threat. Khan's apparent fragility is a strength here.

I will repeat what I said in a thread before - I have NEVER seen Khan outboxed over the first 6 rounds of a fight (ignoring knockdowns) so why not? Yes I think Floyd is the better boxer and should win, but I do think Amir has a chance.

Khan didn't get KOed by Maidana, and he took some big shots during that fight. You never know maybe he will survive the Floyd fight too...

Wow GB and Floyd's team have been pushing the Khan fight for a while now and are not giving up on this idea .... it's all about the money for them and the easy cherry picking.

They are trying so hard to fit a square peg in circle but Khan's chin has not been cooperating:

Wow a potential bout between Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather, Jr would be a huge draw at Wembley. It would break box office records. It could attract up to a hundred thousand or more spectators in just a single event. Moreover, the bout would be a tremendous boost to the British economy.

Floyds feather fists finally catch up to him in this fight. He can't punch his way out of a paper bag much less hurt this guy. Khan outspeeds floyd and overwhelms him with his sheer volume and endurance. TKO11 Khan.

Winner of khan/Alexander and IBF Champion is who I think should be next. Garcia should come up and fight a soto-Karass or Lopez in a welcome to WW fight and then Floyd.

If Bradley beats JMM then of course he should be it but we all know that situation.

Floyd has a much larger fanbase and is more popular and a bigger draw in the U.K. than he is in the U.S. Boxing fans in the U.S hate Floyd Mayweather and want to see him lose.

However, as the fight itself goes; It's a total mismatch. Today Amir Khan is a damaged fighter whose skills are on an obvious decline. Maybe two years ago the fight could've been somewhat competitive.

Be that as it may, Amir lacks punching power and no longer possesses the same chin, legs or perhaps even confidence he once had to seriously challenge Floyd. I can see Mayweather just walking him down until he eventually catches up to him before stopping him.

How is Khan worthy but not Pacquiao if he were to beat rios? Why are Floyd fans still so against Floyd facing pac?

Floyd Pacquiao is still the biggest fight in boxing

Mayweather is not going to fight in the UK.

It's just not going to happen.

If Khan beats Alexander, then the possibility of them fighthing is likely but it's still not going to be in the UK.

Of course it would sell out Wembley but that doesn't matter, he's not going to the UK to fight Khan.
