Once again...a power puncher comes along & everybody makes him into some kind of Terminator. As you can see, that wasn't the case...he landed good shots but it wasn't like Danny was clearly hurt by anything & he definitely didn't look beat up...everybody that was talking Lucas up as the "NEXT" guy for Floyd to be scared of should take a very long walk of a very short bridge.

Danny went from a replacement fighter to the king of his division. He was a fill in for Peterson against Amir Khan. Danny did it the hard way. He wasn't supposed to be the guy on the throne. But he is because he took it. It's very hard to be unfair to Danny right now, but there are some guys here saying he should give Lucas a rematch. All that work and its still not enough. He was supposed to lose this fight like he was supposed to lose to Amir Khan. So my question is...what the ****?

Clean legal punches shut his eye, so fair play from Danny. Matthysse was ignoring the jab, both his and Danny's, he should have pumped it from the get go, moving his head more going in like he began later in the fight.. Great fight from both, Danny really impressed me Saturday night. Hope Matthysse comes back strong.

I don't use the term "hype job"...I'm just addressing all the people who made Lucas out to be this unstoppable force, whatever he touches goes down type of ish...I'm just saying, go back & look at how many people turned him into a god like fighter...Danny held it down, didn't run & never looked hurt...just asking people to quit going overboard with every puncher. Same goes for GGG, not saying he's not good but if he steps in with Ward he'll look ordinary too.
