I heard in one of Lucas interviews that problems in his right eye begun in round four. But the swelling begun somehow later in round seven. That makes sense because you can't really see in that round the punch that caused such damage.

Danny cracked the eye with a "Swift' punch. The eye then "Swiftly" swoll up. Then Danny continued to "swiftly" beat Lucas.

wait lol, what's wrong in saying the eye changed the momentum of the fight?
some fighters get their jaw broken and the whole fight is changed around
does that mean we can't acknowledge that fighter A was doing pretty good before taking that punch that nearly ripped his jaw off?
i dont think anyone(or dont see anyone) saying garcia doesn't deserve credit or he didn't do it
but are we really gonna pretend the eye did nothing to lucas's approach in the fight, he shut down for 2 rounds afterwards

i commend garcia for winning, i thought he had the better chance of kd'ing/ ko'ing lucas going in but saw lucas as the better boxer

P.S "punches" didn't cause the swelling, it was "a" punch, an uppercut actually, not a hook
