Danny went from a replacement fighter to the king of his division. He was a fill in for Peterson against Amir Khan. Danny did it the hard way. He wasn't supposed to be the guy on the throne. But he is because he took it. It's very hard to be unfair to Danny right now, but there are some guys here saying he should give Lucas a rematch. All that work and its still not enough. He was supposed to lose this fight like he was supposed to lose to Amir Khan. So my question is...what the ****?

Why shouldn't there be a rematch? It wasn't a blowout. It was a very close entertaining fight that finished with unanswered questions.

I'm ok with a rematch but not right away, it wasn't a blow out but Danny clearly won the fight. I want to see Garcia vs Broner before a rematch.

There should be a rematch down the road at 147. I think Danny's done with 140. Matthysse should try to get a rematch with Alexander first. That fight had more unanswered questions than this one.

Danny was the better fighter. He was able to close the eye of Matthysse due to landing many shots. It was going to happen. The better man won. Props to Garcia. And Matthysse is a true warrior. He is still an animal.
