I gave you an example and you discredit it to save face. So pathetic, I'm done replying now. I imagine you'll take that as a victory as well like a sad fcker.
Curtis Stevens is one example. He was a small Super MW though, very small for today's standards.

You said hundreds of fighters do the eqivalent of Golovkin moving down to 154.

    Simply not the case.

When was Golovkin last at 154 lbs?
I don't understand why people keep bringing up GGG at 154. He's a good sized middleweight, in no way is he small for the weight and I seriously doubt he could make 154 in a healthy manner or at least in the short run. I could understand Martinez because he's a small middleweight (165-67 pounds) and fought most of his career at 154. Golovkin is a 5'11 career middleweight with strong back muscles and usually rehydrates to 170; I'd figure he'd look a bit skinny at 154 as he'd have to cut muscle weight.

When Martinez first moved to 160 I was sure he could move back down to 154 but he's been there quite a while now. 09 wasn't it when he moved up?

I still think he could make it a lot easier than Golovkin but he hasn't been under MW for about 4 years now. Could be a problem for him getting down to 154 especially at his age.

I don't see either making 154 healthily but Martinez has a lot more of a chance than Golovkin.

When is the last time Golovkin was at 154? I've asked this many times but no one gives me an answer.

According to Wikipedia, the last time he was at Jr MW was 2002 as an Amatuer at the Asian games.

So it's been 11 years and counting since he's been as low as 154.

Because it's hard to see anyone else would give Floyd much of a problem, not to say would be favorite.

Golovkin wouldn't be the favourite, so that answers your question.

Golovkin shouldn't be in the discussion. No one who hasn't been at 154 in over a decade should realistcally be in the discussion.

I personally don't think Martinez should move down to 154 because he hasn't fought there since 2009 (v. Cintron) and he is not a young buck anymore. However, it would be more realistic to see Sergio move down than GGG because of how easily Sergio makes weight at 160 (usually weighs in at 157-158) and the fact that he fought most of his career at 154.

Although if GGG's management want to send him to the slaughter and cash out, I guess they can drain him down to 154...

Ok. they keep saying he can make it so I take them for their words.

Do you think if GGG makes 154 he would still be outclassed by Floyd?

Demetrius Andrade, and he certainly wouldn't be the betting favorite but he would be the one guy I would favor over Floyd. He is just all wrong for Floyd and huge at the weight.

It would be a silly fight for Floyd to even consider, and even if Floyd can hang I can seeing him losing to Andrade just like B-Hop lost to Taylor and I think Andrade will turn into a better fighter than Taylor.

Said it once, say it again, saying doesn't mean anything. Dawson said he could make a weight he hadn't been at in 7 years, Oscar said he could make a weight he hadn't been at in 10 years and look what happened when it came time to do it. Golovkin hasn't been at 154 in 11 years, him making it now at 30 years of age in just simply unrealistic and I bet that he never even tries it. If Golovkin is going anywhere, it's up in weight.

Let's say that Golovkin makes 154 in a healthy manner, I don't think he'd be outclassed by Mayweather no, but he certainly wouldn't be the favourite with the bookies.

No one would at this moment in time.
