It's always a disgrace watching anyone from first take discuss boxing. That boxing has died or dying stuff is way overrated. These guys call them selves professional sports analyst and couldn't name a champion from each division I bet. If you don't know dont discuss it, cause saying boxing is dead shows your true ignorance to the sport.

Colin Cowherd on his radio show repeated the same refrain today. Some decent points made, some not. He picked Mayweather in a clear victory.

how to look like a ****** ... say "boxing is dead" right before the biggest fight of all time... while the biggest earner in all of sports is a boxer.

I think he defines controversy differently than NSB. Controversy = blood/doping tests that stopped a May v. Pac fight. Here, CW = issue, but was resolved and there is a fight. He means, we're grateful the fight is even happening, even if there is a condition that isn't ideal.

I agree w/ Dan and I'm glad he's defending boxing. He's been lobbying for years to go on PTI and FirstTake. Good for him. He gets hate on here (just like Maxy K,), but dude holds it down for boxing.

The First take producers should not allow these two to talk about boxing... they admitted they only 2 fighters. It makes ESPN look completely inept (which it is).

Speaking of First Take, they had Teddy Atlas on this morning, and he picked Canelo by decision.

My four old year son knows more about today's boxing then Skip and that idiot Stephen A Smith. Smith doesn't know **** about anything but basketball. Skip knows about baseball football and basketball but they shouldn't be allowed to talk about boxing.

Yeah, but he basically said "robbery" without actually saying the word.
