Cotto never wanted to put his title on the line at a catch weight he was forced into that or be stripped as far as i can remember. Totally different to the Floyd vs Canelo catch weight as far as im concerned

Personally sounds to me like Oscar and Ellerbe have sold Floyd a bridge and a story. If anyone who was genuinely a fan of his remembers this quote "They got Britney Spears on the side of the building, I wanted the same thing and Bob said I can't do it". Even Tyson at his height wouln't have been able to get her taken off that building to get himself put up there. That was the first public complaint from Floyd. I think therein lays the truth of what Floyd's beef is and not this nonsense he's spouting now. Then the second public complaint was made by Roger "We don't want the Castillo fight, they forced this fight on us". Again more evidence to the contrary, I highly doubt Arum thought Castillo as a cash cow and planned to serve Floyd to him on a platter....but whatever...he's saying this now and this is what the fanbase will believe.

Cotto was pissed that Arum went to bat for Margarito after Margarito got caught cheating. Cotto leaves TR, he gets a shot at Floyd. Manny wanted that shot at Floyd before Floyd went to jail. He tried to negotiate, but Arum killed that. What happens to Manny? He loses a controversial fight to Bradley. Arum is killing the sport, not Haymon, not Floyd, not ODLH, not GBP! Mayweather has a great point. And if peiple wpuld do research, they would see his leaving top rank paid huge dividends. Floyd ask to fight cotto and hatton for 10 million. Arum wouldnt raise the up front money in the contract. Plus working with oscar was out of the question. Fighting margs wouldnt have done anything for floyds career. He would have been like pac, getting big fights but seeing no real money. How is it possible that pacs up front money was only 7.5 million and floyds was 32 million? Garauntee u if pac left arum when his xontract was up last year, he would be raking it in. Instead he will continue to make the money he does.
