Well if youre a promoter what Floyd said makes sense, that way Arum had THE cash cow in Oscar and had a couple more waiting when and if Oscar was to leave. Arum has been called alot of things but DUMB isnt one of them. He had a Mexican-American gold medalist, a future Puerto Rican star, and a future African-American star, He had all the important demographics sewed up to make alot of money. And when the time was right he would have the potential to match up all of them in different Mega fights. Makes alot of sense if you think like a promoter and not like a fan.

While Oscar and Shane were fighting each other twice in epic fights, while they were going up in weight to fight Hall of Famers Winky Wright, Vernon Forrest, Felix Trinidad, and warriors Juan Vargas on steroids, and Ike Quartey, you never heard a word from Floyd.
