Manny Pacquiao and his team are looking to get Miguel Cotto to melt down to an energy draining 142 or 143, and dont want to fight Cotto at 145, which had previously been mentioned as the weight that was an agreeable number. Its unknown why the move is afoot to get Cotto to trim down to the lower weight of 142/143, but it could be that Pacquiao and his team are getting cold feet about the fight.
Cotto, 28, is resisting the request to come in at a lighter weight after his nutritionist said that 145 is as light as Cotto can get without hurting his body. Pacquiao wants Cotto in at the lighter weight, a move which would make it much easier for Pacquiao to beat him obviously.

i don't buy that schit about oscar. they were 2 weights apart when they were both top rank fighters, how could they possibly fought back then? if floyd is saying he would've moved 2 weights to fight oscar in his prime, he would've got his ass kicked.

look, cotto was 146 vs clottey fact
he offered 145 to make the fight fair as pac was coming from 140, fact
cotto after a 10 week camp said he was in his best condition ever fact
cotto showed no signs of being weight drained on fight night, he was at his best
so once again, what are you posting? are you just hating for the sake of it? you are posting nonsense which has no point, the cw drained nobody and was offered while the fight said he was at his best
again, I don't mean to embarrass you but to me it seems you are just a typical floyd stan who repeats what one idiot has said without any point

the facts are son
pac asked if cotto could get down to 142, cotto said no offered 145 so he would be at his best nd that it would be a fair fight since pac was moving up a weight class, you see cotto is a man of honour, so he did it
with floyd, he demanded 147, canelo said no 154, in the end floyd would not go above 152, so canelo accepted
big difference
but once again, you are missing the point
it is the hypocrisy of all of this that is the issue
I do understand you clutching at straws as I exposed your lies, you just need to walk away instead of digging further dude, this is not looking good on you
anyway, this time I am done

Arum is killing the sport, not Haymon, not Floyd, not ODLH, not GBP! Bob Arum has to go!

no, manny/his team wanted the fight at 142/143 as stated in the article, and many others.
- cotto said no way. then his nutritionist said he could do 145 at max...so they went with that. Manny tried to disadvantaged Cotto when Cotto looked like crap the fight before
