Sorry but MOST people thought Floyd won.
Only Bob Arum and a few others thought Castillio won.

I think floyd not getting what he wanted when he wanted turned out better for him in the long run.
That's not impatient - that's taking what your rightfully believe is yours.....

This is what they call the entitlement and victim mentality they think they can get away with anything. Its shameless and disgusting.

Isn't cherry picking what promoters do nowadays? SMDH....and I'm not a Floyd fan whatsoever, so I'll kill that noise before y'all start barking. Talk to Bob, Oscar, Schafer & the rest of promoters who are ruining the sport. Want to beef about weight - push for same-day weigh-ins then...

Just like Rigo, right? You can't decide who's nuts to nibble on: Manny's or Slob's. Answer: just do them both, DAMN......

Cotto at the most, is a natural welterweight. He made 145 somehow confortably. Manny has been the one moving up from 126 to 130 to 135, then 140 and 147 eventually. Any way, I really hope that Canelo adjusts to the lower weight, rehydrates properly, and makes the cowardly demanded 152 limit backfire on the whole ****** Money Gang
            Big Difference

            Manny pac's catch weights!!
            Fact=
Miguel cotto was weight drained the catch weight was 145lbs. Cotto 30yrs old and already struggling to make 147lbs. not to mention cotto coming off a beat down!!

Antonio margarito catch weight margarito 34yrs old struggling with weight issues
already and was asked to fight for his 154lbs title at 150lbs!! Not to Mention margarito was coming off a beat down!!

Erik morales- do I need to explain that one? I would like to think we all follow boxing at least a little bit!!

            NOW!!
            Floyd mayweather catch weight fight

Canelo Alvarez 23yrs old!! again ONLY 23YRS OLD!! never had any issues at 154lbs and coming down just 2 ponds from his comfortable weight!!! AND - - WAIT FOR IT---- UNDEFEATED!!! AND IN HIS PRIME!!

now remember cus pac- turds forget easy that both cotto and margarito were already struggling to make their original weight!!! and were both in their 30's and coming off devastating losses!!

Mayweather always had promotional upside, even from the gate. Young, super talented, handsome, at one point really humble and soft spoken, olympian. He had all the qualities of a blue chip A side from the moment he landed on the scene. Plus top shelf family boxing background.

Rigo on the other hand doesn't. He's old, ugly, speaks no english and is from a background (cuban descent) that doesn't have a strong boxing background. Sure he's talented and an olympian, but he doesn't have the other qualities that just make people want to come out and drop their hard earned cash. Only hard cores. And there aren't that many left

But hey, feel free to bash this post, doesn't make it any less true
Don't know what promoter hat you have but it doesn't fit. A promoter's job is to PROMOTE. If you can't promote a fighter, DON'T sign him, better yet get out of the business - that's simple. These promoters are getting lazy - they need to do job & stop with the BS......

Floyd gets killed in the media for making Marquez come up in weight and got no credit for that fight.(Marquez asked for the catchweight from Floyd but fought Pac and Bradley at 147. Why is that?) Double standard

Then Floyd tries to make the fans happy by fighting a guy his own size in Mosley who was coming off a great win and still didn't get credit.(Pac and Canelo beat an even older Mosley and got credit for it. Double standard

No matter what Floyd does in the ring he will never get the credit for it.

So ask yourself this......Why should Floyd continue to fight these big guys at 154 when he won't get the credit anyway? Might as well get all these big guys to come down to him.
I agree with most of your post, but Floyd did Marquez dirty with the weight.....

So glad Mayweather spoke on this. Too many new fanatics in boxing do not understand the history between Mayweather and Arum. I will add on to what Mayweather stated and say bob doesn't believe any black fighter should be his cash cow. If this is the truth, Rigondeux is suffering because of it. But Arum knows you have to beat a slick black fighter to have any real credibility in the sport. Maybe that why he keeps signing them? Either that or he is stifling their career to keep attention on his self determined cash cows. But he keeps trying to create another Oscar and now Pac. If he was able to think out the box he would follow Mayweather's business model with Guillermo.

Personally sounds to me like Oscar and Ellerbe have sold Floyd a bridge and a story. If anyone who was genuinely a fan of his remembers this quote "They got Britney Spears on the side of the building, I wanted the same thing and Bob said I can't do it". Now correct me if i'm wrong but at the time wasn't Britney Spears the biggest thing in music? Even Tyson at his height wouln't have been able to get her taken off that building to get himself put up there. That was the first public complaint from Floyd. I think therein lays the truth of what Floyd's beef is and not this nonsense he's spouting now. Then the second public complaint was made by Roger "We don't want the Castillo fight, they forced this fight on us". Again more evidence to the contrary, I highly doubt Arum thought Castillo as a cash cow and planned to serve Floyd to him on a platter....but whatever...he's saying this now and this is what the fanbase will believe.
