Floyd's ego is unbelievable
If Arum didn't believe in Floyd he never would of signed him in the first place

I agree with AD. Building a stable of fighters is about signing a volume of talent and eventually the cream will rise to the top. Floyd wasn't patient enough to wait for his turn to be Arum's top billed fighter so he left and took the spot himself. Luckily for him he was able to do it and Bobs been pissy about it ever since. I don't think Floyd sees it that way at all though. I do think this breakup hindered the potential fight with Pacquiao.

Just proves all how corrupted the boxing game is these days. Makes me kinda of second guess with getting into sport but o well.

more lies from the fraud. oscar afraid of taking a loss? um he had multiple losses at that point and still redeemed his star power. floyd beating him would only raise floyd's stock not hurt oscars. floyd demanded 20 million to fight him and arum said no. he only got 10 when he actually fought him. next! floyd turned down a career high payday to fight cotto after cotto became popular. floyd wanted to fight cotto when cotto wasn't even a star. what's the point of that? so floyd wanted an easy fight for low money instead of a tough fight for big money. floyd "money" mayweather lol.
as floyd said himself he hand picks opponents and he wasn't able to do that with top rank so he left.Last edited by daggum; 09-11-2013, 11:13 AM.

Arum is pure garbage. He doesn't care about any of his fighters like most promoters. You only care as far as your wallet.

Bob saved Floyd from getting his ass beat by a younger, stronger and faster de LA hoya, and Floyd's crying about it? you can't make this **** up.

Mayweather always had promotional upside, even from the gate. Young, super talented, handsome, at one point really humble and soft spoken, olympian. He had all the qualities of a blue chip A side from the moment he landed on the scene. Plus top shelf family boxing background.
Rigo on the other hand doesn't. He's old, ugly, speaks no english and is from a background (cuban descent) that doesn't have a strong boxing background. Sure he's talented and an olympian, but he doesn't have the other qualities that just make people want to come out and drop their hard earned cash. Only hard cores. And there aren't that many left
But hey, feel free to bash this post, doesn't make it any less true
