Why do so many bag on Deontay Wilder here?

Yes he's untested and had limited opposition so far but he's got the highest KO percentage and he has mad crushing power.

29-0 29 KO's is still impressive no matter how you dissect it.

But why do so many hate on and criticize him? Has he been knocked down before? Is he chinny?

I don't know I only see his last few fights but always impressive out of those times I've seen him.

Yes he has been down, twice. Once against Harold Sconiers and once against some guy who was grotesquely out of shape. He also appeared buzzed by some middleweight carrying 100lbs of lard that had been massively inactive and had two bad knees. I think its safe to say hes carrying glass.

You could easily say "Why do so many people think Wilder is the next big thing?" He has lots of supporters who think he will take over the HW division.

Wilder hasn't really done anything to showcase any real good boxing skills just great power and speed. Its easy to see the glaring fundamental faults in Wilder's technique and overall boxing...sloppy and throws telegraphed looping shots and poor balans and has a suspect chin. He hasn't even been past four rounds yet so we don't know how he will react when he's in there with a quality opponent that will force him to box. Even though he has a very impressive record he's still very untested. Boxing is more than just great power. I could of course be wrong but I think he'll get KO'd once he steps up in class. He reminds me of Michael Grant.

However I do hope i'm wrong cause he's the type of HW boxer that would be great for the HW division. He looks the part and has the perfect style. A big strong ripped athletic dude with some seriuos KO power that is very aggressive minded and wants to take your head off with almost every single punch. That's the kind of HW that the casual fans love. If Wilder is the real deal he will be a very big star.

oh damn i didnt know all that. were they flash knockdowns? obviously if hes undefeated and he came back to knock them out then it couldnt have been all that bad. JMM gets knocked down a lot but he recovers fast and wins, but im assuming these werent JMM flash knockdowns tho huh?

Wilder showboating against this guy is reason enough for me to despise him forever but in addition to that he's a woman strangling and beating degenerate. As for his boxing he is a no skilled, windmilling, glass jawed fraud who is apparently the new replacement for all the Seth Mitchell fans who are pretending they never said he was for real and a top heavyweight contender....which hordes of fans and "experts" did.

but i think the ref ruled it a slip right? he didnt rule it a knockdown? that dude hes fighting is like a joke king hippo from mike tysons punch out or something. he looks seriously out of shape yet he was hanging in there with him. also those ropes in that ring was sketchy as hell like the ropes didnt even look strong enough to support and stand up the second a fighter touch them.
