Floyd did it to himself, and we as his fans slammed Manny for it so we or he can't say any damn thing to justify it

P.S Pacquiao was already fighting at welterweight.. so he made cotto come down..

      Mayweather fights at 147

he's fought at 154lb twice in his career, and performs terribly compared to 147.

The fact that he was draining himself to make 147.. and then had to drain himself to make 145.. is admirable to his training, but it means he was 9lbs from his strongest weight..

as of yet canelo has fought at 154lbs fighting smaller built guys than him.. and hasn't stated he intends to move up

Pacquiao comes in fight night heavier than Floyd.. he's not a small guy himself.

Pacquiao is a great fighter, and he done well to beat Cotto at 145... he'd get mangled at 154.
WELTERWEIGHT IS ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN POUNDS!!!!!! If he had a struggle then he should NOT have fought for the Welterweight title, PERIOD!

We don't know what Floyd comes in fight night, since he's only let them show it once in the past 6 years. Pac's lowest fight night weight in the same period is much lower.

Cotto moved up to bag his 3rd divisional belt via crippled Foreman. He never announced he'd move up after Pac in advance. Canelo may well move up soon, since he's even bigger at his weight than Cotto was at welter.

As I stated above.. you are missing the fact that Floyd is coming from 147 to 152lbs..

Pacquiao was bringing De La hoya who had fought at 160lbs... to 145lbs..

It's hardly the same asking a fighter to lose 1LB on fight night

and gaining 5lbs yourself... is it?

Tell us something we don't know already. Catchweights are either ALL wrong or ALL right, there is no way to say its okay for one fighter and not another.

Hey dumba$$, Pac fought unranked at welter DLH, moving up 2 weights as a one off. At no point did he call himself a welter, said he'd drop right back down. And he definitely didn't call himself ww champ when he asked Cotto for the CW.

By contrast, Floyd is a current and 2x champ at 154, who just lobbied not to get stripped of his 154 belt. Is this sinking in?
