Take your pick, either Floyd demanded it or Canelo and you know DAMN WELL Canelo did not demand it. It doesn't MATTER if Canelo is drained or not, FLOYD SAID HE IS NOT THE KIND OF GUY, HE DOESN'T DO CATCHWEIGHTS!!! Guess what?? HE contradicted himself and is a hypocrite and that is why the boards had a meltdown when people learned that Floyd did the SAME THING he accused Pac of doing!
    Check mate....and I'm a Floyd fan lol

Margarito was a career 147 fighter. He had a bonus of 3lbs for that fight. The issue was more that it was a title fight at a CW and Margarito getting the opportunity not that Margarito was going to be drained.

Cotto: Back then held a title at 147 NOT 154. Even now, many people on this forum have been saying that Cotto is NOT a true 154 fighter and should have gone down. Especially after losing to Trout. Cotto also asked for a CW against Margarito to fight at 150-151 a year ago. Why if he is so strong at 154? lol!

Hatton: Manny fought him at a weight where Hatton was KING (140). Hatton was very average in his only fight at 147 but did Floyd fight him at a CW so it was fair for Hatton? Remember, it's not about Hatton's weight as some Floyd fans may suggest. It's about where Hatton is effective at. History will show that it was at 140 NOT 147 ..... but the most laughable part of all this is that you said that Hatton was shot. So then what about Cotto vs Floyd? Cotto was already in many wars that he lost badly by then but you forgot, no?

Oscar: Oscar out of prime and not as active (more a promoter) for both Manny and Floyd. You forget to mention that Manny was 1 fight away from going up 3 divisions!!! For Manny, Oscar's previous fight was at 150 so all Oscar had to do was go down 3lbs (similar to Canelo). Also, Oscar had already made weight BEFORE the weigh-in. Yet, everyone here says that he was drained even though Oscar said he was in great shape .... Like you said, must be nonsense. Right?

Floyd: Crime no, hypocrite yes! Both have title at 154.

Canelo: It's not just the weight that is important. It's how effective Canelo will be. Going by his last fight, Canelo struggled with a low work-rate and had stamina issues. So if he needs to go down 2lbs more, he may make the weight but may not be as affective. We need to see the fight to be sure though.

Floyd's team laughs about Canelo's only advantages over Floyd. They used a CW to limit the size advantage and say that even though Canelo has youth, he also has lot's of stamina issues and fights flat-footed.
      I'm defintely being serious...

Margarito is a 5'11 fighter who weighed in at 147 on fight nights and ballooned up.. what does that tell you.. he drank 15lbs worth of water in a night? erm.. no..

Cotto wanted the fight at 154lbs against Floyd.. why if he's strongest at 147-150lbs?

Hatton thought about suicide and was taking countless drugs and ballooned up to over 180lbs after Floyd.. he was more than shot.

Cotto just came off a sensational win against margarito using good footwork and boxing skills.

Oscar was very much still in his prime against Floyd... he fought Floyd at 154lbs and Pacquiao at 145lbs. +4 years how can you actually compare this...? Pacquiao came up to his natural weight (he weighs more than Floyd on fight night)

Canelo Canelo struggled because he actually fought a big named boxer... he's been fighting cab drivers his whole career... he weighed in at his usual weight.. why was his stamina different? oh.. because he actually had to box..?

Show me your evidence for Floyd's team demanding a catch weight?

All he had to do was put a ring weight limit and drop the 152 and I would have applauded Floyd and never called him what he is, a hypocrite. I was a HUGE fan of Floyd's for over 10 years but it ended when he decided not to be his real self and take on a fake persona.
Or maybe he fought at 154 twice.. and once because he had to, to make his name big in boxing and realised he wasnt great at that division?

Paul williams is a skinny tall lanky fighter.. how do you work that one out?

Marquez was fighting at 130 the previous year. Marquez thought Floyd would keep his promise of going down to 144 but then Floyd didn't bother to do so. Marquez NEVER fought at 140 nor 147 before yet you are comparing Marquez to Floyd here? Let's be real .... Floyd has a title at 154!

It is a fact that Floyd asked for 147, then 150, and settled on 152. I have the article but expect to be paid in a wager for the evidence. Only ONE party demanded the 152 and everyone knows who that is. DEDUCTIVE reasoning is not even needed. For a $100 wager, I'll produce the article. You will then have to find material that counters what the article shows which you will not.

So you are basing your evidence on the media...

didn't you watch all access where canelo's team were laughing and calling Floyd an idiot for coming up 5lbs?

The he should NOT HAVE DECIDED TO FIGHT at junior middleweight if he was not that great at junior middleweight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
