lol.. no way boxers would get paid what they get paid if the sport was dead.

also lets hear those ppv numbers next weekend and they will see how dead the sport its.

Boxing will never be dead, it has so much history,i think its one of the richest sports history wise.

... I am just a huge boxing fan ... i love this sport ahahaha

The thing is they don't even watch those. Wilbon pretended to be a huge Pacman fan yet you could tell that he never watched him fight when talking about it the next monday, and Tony says it's too late for him to stay up.

The only PPV I heard Wilbon say he bought was some weak UFC card and he only bought it because of Kimbo lmao, he then went on a tirade against MMA. These guys...

These guys don't know **** about boxing. Today's boxing. So their opinion means nothing. How can u have a legit opinion about a sport that u don't even follow??? This is why I pray that a black heavyweight with a great story behind from like Philly or Detroit comes along, wins the title and main steam media jumps all over his d1ck. Then maybe boxing will be alive again.

People have been saying Boxing is dead or dying since I started watching it. Boxing will never go away. Ever. Their will always be great fights and great fighters.

I remember years ago a poster started a thread about an old article he found that said boxing was dead. That article was from the 50 's or something. They've been saying it for while.

ESPN is great for the NFL and maybe the NBA as far as boxing hell no only Floyd & Manny they can barely speak about.

Why they saying Boxing is dead if Floyd is getting that much amount of money for ONE fight?!!
It may go unnoticed to everyday people/youtubers cuz the "in" thing now is MMA, but there are still talented boxers left: Mattyhse, Canelo, Broner, etc.

Its crazy how far Mayweather AND Pacquiao were able to go to the mainstream. All those dumb celebrities who never watched a lick of boxing knew who both were and wanted to see them fight. Such a damn shame the two never fought around 09-11...the whole place woulda exploded

Good, since they think it's dead then everyone at ESPN can stop talking about it. I shudder every time they speak about it as if they know what's going on.
