Thats like if you say Margarito all of sudden turns into Juan Manuel Marquez if he was to fight again.

    Doenst happen.
Yeah but before the Trout fight, no one would have ever imagined that he would show great defensive skills in the manner that he did. I'm not saying he will become some super pressure fighter like Margs but he may very well present something he hasn't done before as part of his strategy.

WHY? Because Mayweather completely embarrased Marquez.
I personally don't really think the 2 pounds will make a big difference in the scheme of things, it just wasn't necessary to begin with. Marquez was bloated and slow in that fight, he was completely out of his element to be fair. Floyd may win this fight but I just can't get over how underrated Canelo is here on these boards.

Canelo is a smart, tough, fast, strong fighter who would, without a doubt in my mind, beat Cotto, Ortiz, (already beat Mosley), Marquez, Guerrero, etc. All I'm saying is that Canelo isn't going to be any walk in the park due to his skillset and size obviously but he has the mind of a champion as well.

I'm guessing if he didn't have Oscar tooting his horn every 5 minutes and he looked more like a traditional Hispanic, he would have earned a much greater deal of respect than he has. I suspect he will win many "haters" over with his performance next Saturday.

Trout is a converted orthodox fighter. Those guys never beat top guys with two fists. Second, Margarito used super pressure when he had plaster in his fists. No plaster, no top wins.

Some people think this is gonna be like the Ricky Hatton fight LMFAO do y'all even watch boxing? Canelo is skilled and big, he has the second best compubox rating behind Mayweather, this will be a tough fight for Floyd. I have a feeling he has bitten off more than he can chew in Canelo.

i'm interested in how this fight will play out. i don't see canelo applying all out pressure. i think he has very sound boxing skills and very quick hands. round 6 of cotto/mayweather was so interesting to me because cotto won that round decisively by outboxing floyd. not saying canelo can outbox him for 12 rounds but if he tries to box with floyd i think he will have his moments and if he cracks him good who knows. this is not a skill mismatch like guerrero was.
