Eh...I think his $ per fight was guaranteed when he signed the contract. Kinda like a baseball/football contract, loaded up front, less toward the end.

From my understanding his contract with showtime is on a fight by fight basis. Do u really think they would be paying him a guarantee of $41mil to fight say... Devon Alexander?

some ppl used to buy the ppv hoping to watch him lose. this is maybe a quarter or a third of the ppv buys. but with this outrageous price, i think they'll lose this audience.
