You know what I think? I strongly believe that Floyd is being guaranteed such a large purse of $41mil because he wont be receiving any ppv revenue from this fight so that Showtime can recoup their losses for the Guerrero bout. At the end of the day everyone wins. Floyd gets the highest guaranteed purse in boxing history while Showtime banks the profits from ppv and recoups from the previous Floyd fight. I may be wrong but this is what I believe. It isnt far fetched.

Eh...I think his $ per fight was guaranteed when he signed the contract. Kinda like a baseball/football contract, loaded up front, less toward the end.
