Even Mayweather Sr. who never said a kind word about pac in his life ackowldged this. one's a close fight that could've went either way and one was a robbery.

Rios is a tough opponent, and I actually think it's a 50/50 fight. Rios has a lot of power and it's a risk taking a fight with a power puncher coming off his recent knockout.

as I said in a post above, Pac's career accomplishments, current rating as a top 3 welterwt, and marketability would still make the fight a no-brainer if politics weren't involved. instead of saying he doesn't deserve it, tell me who does?
Broner maybe - not happening. winner of Matthyse-garcia would be good. BUt Pac definitely deserves it more than Khan - who had 2 losses, then beat a nobody and barely sc****d by a past his prime former lightwt champ
I dont care about money so marketability goe out the window for me. And Pac being top 3 doesnt matter cause according to Hero that is easy to manipulate so lets get rid of that. If Floyd gets past Canelo, which i strongly dont think he will, then i wouldnt mind winner of lucas/garcia or alexander/khan. Yes Khan lost but he would have beaten a solid champ and some of you like the money and marketability aspect so there you go and hell be a champion to boot.

      51 out of 144=35%

SO 65% had manny NOT winning, which means an even greater percentage had Manny NOT winning..

Now how about you just cut the bull**** statistical manipulation out, be an adult, and admit that the majority of people thought JMM won the 2nd and 3rd fights.
Come on man. Do I need to repost my crystal clear figures? Why are you trying to muddy it? What I said is 100% right. If you have some other argument, fine, but don't try to correct me.

Hey you're more knowledgeable than Fetta, do you know another "robbery" that had both Cliff and Jake scoring it for the wrong guy outright?

you're right - more thought JMM won, but it's close - not a robbery that's the difference. what was Pac v. Bradley. 99% thought Pac won

Was this after or before the 1st negots? I understand after that first one there was major posturing from both ends but i go back to he first time when it was at its peak and Pac walked away over testing. How that doesnt set up red flags is beyond me

whats easy to manipulate - Im talking about who are the best fighters at 147?
and either marketability counts or it doesn't. so it works for Khan, but you don't care about it for Pac? OK

I know it wont, but it should.
I mean, cmon, ur talking about "earning the fight" was beating Aydin and Berto enough to earn Guererro the fight? it's always a combo of accomplishments and marketability. Pac has got a lot of accomplishments, just not a lot over the past yr and lot of marketability. so yes, that "earns" him the fight
he isn't the most popular anything so make a rational fact based arguement.

If you are saying floyd v manny is the biggest event in boxing to be made and he therefore deserves a floyd fight ok. But at least be honest and poin out that for casual fans the JMM ko loss reduces the luster of the fight.

As posters here on NSB and presumably diehard boxing fans we know triangle theories dont work. Outside of NSB, casual fans believe they do. SO if they see JMM stuggle 3 times then get KTFO by a guy floyd easily beat it doesn't make them think Manny has much of a chance.

Manny wins a couple by KO, reestablishes his aura, then we agree the fight gets hot again. But don't act like Manny is the same Manny. I mean even the manny fringe boderline pedofilies like hecatri are saying manny is shot.

no doubt - the 1st rd of negotiations I put more fault on Pac. even though at the time there had never been additional testing, so I understand Pac's position, but he should've ageed. but since March '10, Floyd has had a ton of excuses

The infamous phone call? do you mean the one where Montoya got hung up on for mentioing testing to Arum right before the JMM 3 fight? Of course not you mean the Floyd call that came right after Montoya was hung up and Arum spurted out that they will agree to testing and everyone ran with it cause it was the first time he actually said it. So as you can see they hadnt agreed to anything till that faithful Montoya hung up day.

No that 40 mil for Pac was legit but the 0 PPV i can see as crap. I love how now this fight has gotten to $300 mil HAHA

why do I need to point that out, its obvious the JMM loss reduces the luster of the fight,. when did I say otherwise.
when I said Pac is the most popular, I meant in the world. May is a little more popular in USA, and Pac is way more popular in Asia. Ill be honest that I don't know the rest, either way, it's very close
and, theres no way Manny is the same many - I think he could easily get KO'd by Rios. I just would love to see the fight still, that's all, and I know millions of others would too, even though theres no chance so I don't know why Im debating the merits of it. lol
