I remember Top Rank was thinking of dropping him a while back, maybe a year or two ago, after a really underwhelming win. Top Rank made the right move.

They didn't do him wrong either; they built him up, made him some money, took him to a title shot. He didn't just come up short, he didn't even belong in the ring with Vasquez. And at 25, I don't see him improving much either.

Did they have him for that long? I thought they singed him after the Burnett fight... even then he wasn't impressive against a bum.
