Marg was a much much better pressure fighter than guerrero will ever be. He was also tougher with a much greater chin that will keep on coming at you until the bell rings. Floyd would have ****ed both his fragile hands up hitting margarito's big ass head in the first 4 rounds.

Marg was a natural pressure fighter. He didn't get discouraged getting hit aslong as he gets his few shots in, but he will keep marching forward and break your will. Guerrero was never a natural pressure fighter.

Marg was a terrific fighter. People see his last 2 fights and think he just fought like that his entire career. The way he pressured and cut off the ring was legendary, as was his will to win and heart. Marg is the type of fighter with 75s, 80s in all PS3 "Fight Night 4" categories but would still beat 95% of the guys around. Comparing him to Guerrero is an insult

People are look too much into 1 or 2 things a fighter does great instead of the whole package

Guerrero > Marg in overall boxing ability but the smaller man.
        I disagree with the bolded.

Margarito applied relentless pressure. Ortiz and Hatton, just to name two, followed the same game plan. It didn't work, at all.
Mayweather made them miss and made them pay, made them tired and frustrated.
Going out there and be the tough guy who throws a lot of punches is probably the best way to hand the fight to Floyd.

Guerrero, like Cotto, was trying to apply intelligent pressure, trying to negate Floyd's chance to counter , probably his best asset.

Guerrero got outmanouvred and outboxed, but he wasn't fighting a ****** fight. I wouldn't say that Margarito's pressure is "better" by default. It is just more flashy, fan friendly if you will.

You can't compare Marg pressure to Hatton, and especially Ortiz lol. Marg is just so much bigger and tougher than Hatton. And Ortiz is a mental midget, like the opposite of Marg. When things go dicey, he goes quitting.

Why not? they applied the same kind of pressure.

Margarito being bigger and 'tougher' , as in mentally resilient, doesn't really make a difference in how effective his pressure was.

Probably he would have lasted the whole 12, still fighting on and on, I give you that. But would he be succesful?. I seriously doubt it.

You simply don't get it. They all apply pressure non stop, thet just use diff methods. Marg will continue to walk in Guerrero is smart applying his with boxing skills but continues to apply it

Of course it does. Guerrero's "pressure" was literally walking around gracefully and throwing punches like he was in a sparring session. He never really tried to win, he mostly tried not to get KTFO

He couldn't apply pressure on 151lb fight night, 64 inch reach Aydin. He got busted up by this midget. Now Karass showed us how to put pressure on that midget, and Karass is a much worse version of Marg.

A shot Casa wilted from Tim Bradley's pressure, but went 12 with Guerrero and knocked him down. Some pressure lol

I was comparing Maragarito's pressure with Hatton's and Ortiz', not Guerrero's.

What you say about Guerrero is partially true. Your description perfectly matches the second half of the fight, Guerrero just wanted to hear the final bell.

If you rewatch the first half of the fight though, when Guerrero still believed he could win, you'll probably notice that he was applying intelligent pressure, attempting to anticipate Floyd's counter with his own. Give Floyd something to think about.
