He did pretty good even against Floyd. Floyd's just slippery. Marg wouldn't have gotten close. I t
Say they are equal in applying pressure with Guerrero being much faster with good power.

But what power before marg fought cotto do you speak of?

Floyd took that highly anticipated "Balthazar" fight instead. Hahahahahaha. What a joke.

Floyd was just running, if he actually kept up any offense he would've beaten up Guerrero badly just like he was doing in the 8th round or so.

Guerrero's footwork is ridiculously slow, slower than Margarito's. His hands are faster but he isn't really educated in offense like Margarito.

What power? Did you watch any of his fights?

              Do better? not much

Margarito is taller, has a longer reach and is bigger, probably stronger.
Guerrero is more well rounded, has better coordination, better movement.

Styles make fights, while I'd favor Margarito against Guerrero, I envision him getting utterly frustrated by a slick boxer like Mayweather, and get a much worse beating than Guerrero.

How could we compare who did better if Margarito was never given the opportunity to face Mayweather? Anyway... i just don't see anything to compare here. Prior to the Berto and Floyd fight Guerrero was not a pressure fighter, he adapted it in order to try and bully Mayweather into opening up and setting off his blistering combos.

On the other hand, Margarito was a natural stalking machine. He rose to power with the specific style Guerrero was attempting to inherit. He punched with a relentless pressure most fighters succumbed to, had a granite chin and cut off the opposition efficiently most of the time. Plus, Margarito was naturally the bigger man. Perhaps Margarito would have came close to or even have beaten Floyd. Truth is, we will never know.

Margarito= Better pressure, punch output with granite chin.

The Ghost = Combo's, good hand speed, technically more efficient than margarito.

Guerrero < Marg in terms of pressure

Guerrero > Marg in overall boxing ability but the smaller man.

He beats up on bums much more impressively. He'd run that bum Aydin out of the ring, and he had Guerrero woozy. Anyone think Berto could go the distance with Marg? And imagine shot Casa in the ring with him, it wouldn't go 1 round.
