This is about Ward getting a PPV fight and the biggest payday of his career before he moves up to 175.

      He's earned this.

Think of it as back pay for the brutal Super 6 tourney he had to go through.

The Super Six ended in 2011.

How long does this break last? Does it end?

He didn't fight Bute because of this break.

Then he was fighing Pavlik for his break.

Now he's fighting Chavez for his break.

He doesn't have a legitmate win since Froch.

He needs to do something and quickly.

Why exactly is this fight being pushed? Chavez has never even beaten a top 10 fighter at 160

Can't stand Ward. I would actually root for Jr in this 1.

I don't think he's moving up to 175 any time soon. Chavez and Froch are the money-spinners from 160-175. Stevenson and Bute can fight at 168, Hopkins won't fight him and I'm sure he's in no hurry to fight Kovalev.

PBP didn't say break, what do you mean by it? The reason he hasn't fought since last year is down to injury. He'll fight this Autumn/Fall.

Yeah, it was super-tough. I mean, he had to travel sooooo much for his fights; he never fought in his home town or anything, did he?

And, of course, he didn't indulge in illegal tactics to beat main challenger? No, not Ward.

Listen to his interview with Fight hype. He said he wants to fight on PPV and that this matchup makes the most business sense for everybody involved.
