My Top 20 All Time

Hands down is a phrase that requires reasoning, if you had said it was a close call then no problem, but I'd need a solid bit of reasoning why Greb is better than Ali? It's time to put up or shut up.Comment

You don't understand what I wrote, I was speaking to the guys not ranking Ali in the top 20 or top 10. I'm asking you why Chavez and Hopkins shouldn't be in a top 20, two different questions mateComment

Hopkins doesn't belong in top 20. Hopkins is a great but he should really be a struggle to fit in a top 100 nevermind be in a top 20. Hopkins of course gets added points for his light heavyweight performances but the very best middleweight in history should definitely be ahead of him: namely Monzon, and a case could be made for Cerdan, LaMotta, Benvenuti, Griffith, Basilio, Fullmer and **** Tiger ahead of Hopkins.
I'm not doing a top 20 as it is far too difficult especially as I am uncomfortable comparing fighters I have never seen or only seen in little bits and pieces with bad quality video with others where it is easier to judge. I will say one thing though, I think the best fighters from the first three decades of the 20th century are perhaps overrated by the history buffs.Comment

You highlight Greb and Moore but they clearly have better resumes than Ali. Especially Greb.
if that's one of the worst lists you've seen you should look harder. I'm not surprised you feel that way, though.
