if you think about, both of these guys are basically the same. Both undefeated fighters who have never faced a legitimate prime hall of fame opponent.

At least with Calzaghe, his best win is a past prime hopkins is better than any single win in floyd's resume.

So i dont understand the poll results, because if Floyd was from wales, was humble, and quiet but still had the same resume,

NOBODY WOULD THINK OF HIM AS THIS ALL TIME GREAT FIGHTER AND HE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN NAMED P4P #1.

      That would have never happened.

Floyd being a flashy black american is what basically gave him this godly status and p4p #1 designation.

          why should I?

Floyd's fake wanksta personality made him appear a lot greater than he really is.

I mean who has floyd really beaten? Who is his best win?

Diego Corrales? A guy who is not even a real hall of famer and might not even get in?
Castillo? Certainly not a hall of famer.
Genaro? NOt a real hall of famer but would probably get sympathy votes for his cancer.

          Hatton?

          Old shane who almost KHTFO?

What makes floyd's resume so great?

Castillo and Corrales were prime HOF opponents. Closer to any prime hall of fame opponent Calzaghe beat, both are ATGs though.

ok dude,, i hate to do this to you cuz i like you but im gonna have to do the unthinkable and put you on blast and defend floyd...

              1. corrales is a much better fighter than lacy ever was,,,, Lacy is calzaghe 2nd or 3rd best win,,,

              2. Hatton is a hall of famer and was a great fighter in his prime,, that was a good win for floyd and equal to the kessler win for joe,, which is another top 3 win for joe...

              3. Castillo was a great fighter of his era,, not an ATG but def HOFer and best lightweight resume of the past 10-15 years or since mosely,,,
floyd beat him twice, yes the 1st won was close and could have gone either way but the rematch settled all doubts,,,, Another great win for floyd...

              4. Hopkins for calzaghe was a great win,,, just like oscar was a great win for floyd,, both about even because it was aging champs on the last hurrah but still really good fighters,,,,, If oscar would have kept fighting at 154 he could have picked up some more belts just like hopkins has,,,,
I think these wins are about even...

              5. but then you have to consider that floyd has also beaten genaro, who was a great champ, and mosely, cotto, zab, and lineal champ baldomir,,,

              6. floyd just has more depth at his resume,,, i havent even talked about the manfredy fight, or ortiz and ghost,,, canelo........

              7. floyd's resume is superior to joe's.... i dont even know how this is debatable,,, Joe was a great fighter and one of my favorites, but it would make me an idiot fanboy to think joe's resume compares to floyd.....

              I hope you understand now

Castillo and Corrales are not legit hall of fame opponents.

Corrales is not in the hall of fame, although his tragic death not his in ring accomplishments could garner him sympathy votes and he makes it in.

Castillo along with Corrales are not lock to be in the HOF.

What win does floyd have that is better than Joe's Hopkins win?

Why use Corrales, floyds best win with Lacy instead of Hopkins who is Calzaghe's best win?

What's floyd's second best win? Hatton? past prime oscar? castillo 2? Go with 38 year old going on 39, 1 year and a half inactive shane who almost KHTFO? Past prime pacquiao leftover cotto? lol at Baldomir? Is Genaro in the hall of fame? is he legit HOF or will his cancer get him in? lol at hatton being a great fighter lol...

None of those guys (at their stage when floyd fought them) are better than a prime undefeated kessler.

Did you see the poll result? I voted under neither are ATGs. I never said Calzaghe had a better resume. Floyd might have a slightly better resume, but they are in the same boat.

Cherry pickers who cared more about their undefeated record than testing their skill against the very best.

Both of these guys have yet to face a legitimate Hall of Fame fighter IN THEIR PRIME.

                I hope you understand now.

floyd was p4p before he even started this fake gangsta style.

i believe he was on the p4p list in 98,calzaghe didn't make it till he was already near retirement thanks for proving how much of a novice you are.
