and avoided all the decent fresh challengers at both SMW and LHW.

stop avoiding why by writing 'stop making yourself look ******'.

Make no mistake, Kessler was a very very very good fighter at the time.
Agree...the point is that their eras weren't really all that separate. Maybe the original post could have just said Cal is a better fighter and provided proof of why.

A unified world champion with nearly 40 fights is "green". Interesting. Do you know what green means you bellend?

So tell me who his best win was then because he was sure as hell green at the top level.

He avoided everyone but somehow managed to be undisputed/linear champion at SMW and linear champion at LHW?

After Calzaghe beat Veit the first time Veit went on to win 15 fights AND the WBO 'interim' title. Using that rematch as part of your argument detracts from what you're saying.

I suggest slowing down & thinking about what you type.

He beat the other champions in the division and was in his prime/most confident. There was only Calzaghe who he had left to beat. Maybe he was green at Calzaghe level because no one else was on that level.

Beating paper champs doesnt make you world level. He was still domestic level and when he did fight the best american finally , he got spanked up by Ward
