For you maybe. Ward has cleaned up 168 good and proper. To sit there and try to get a fight with Chavez jr or chased Froch for a rematch or force GGG to come up in weight is unbecoming of a true pfp fighter no matter who it is. Ward will make money regardless, he's not a superstar, won't ever be and if he actsa like he is, he'll find himself holding hands with Bradley. Stuck on the sidelines longer than an elite fighter should be.
Would Andre Ward be successful at light heavyweight?

GGG wouldn't do anything to Ward at 168, nevermind 175.
His power wouldn't be as effective as it is at 160, and no matter how good he is at cutting off the ring, he just wouldn't compete with Ward. I'd favour Froch over GGG too at 168.
Kovalev could be his biggest threat there, but even so Ward beats him.
Ward could dominate that division. He just doesn't choose to for whatever reason. Nothing at 168 left for him.Comment

Not for me, but for him. I honestly don't care for a Jr fight and I want a golovkin fight, its the best fight that can be made at 168 IMO. With that said I have no doubt ward is doing this for the money. That has nothing to do with me, its the simple truth. For you maybe. Ward has cleaned up 168 good and proper. Ward would make some money vs triple G and receive absolutely no credit for the win, (should) he win. Then what??Comment

Why would most fans give Ward credit for beating up on a 5-10 middleweight who could easily fight at 154?? And understand 1 thing, I am a Ward fan.Comment

I don't know. I picked Kovalev to KO Cleverly but I still feel like he was slowing down already. I think Ward would run away with the fight in the 2nd half of the fight.
Also I read something that said John David Jackson fighters never comeback to win when they are hurt earlier in their fight. Doesn't mean too much but interesting to hear that. Perhaps it's a stamina issue who knows.
I was talking about at 168 vs Ward. I'm realistic about GGG as I mentioned he would be the underdog vs Ward but I think he beats Froch. It's not a good fight for Froch. Froch gets hit and GGG will make him pay for it.GGG wouldn't do anything to Ward at 168, nevermind 175.

Ward hurting Kovalev early?? I don't subscribe to that theory.I don't know. I picked Kovalev to KO Cleverly but I still feel like he was slowing down already. I think Ward would run away with the fight in the 2nd half of the fight.

The commentators like Roy Jones and Max Kellerman were saying he was slowing down, but he wasn't.
Remember Jones said KOvelev isn't able to punch hard now because he's tired, then he KOed Cleverly.
Kovalev has excellent stamina, watch Kovalev-Simakov.Comment
