Would Andre Ward be successful at light heavyweight?

How would Andre Ward do at light heavyweight?

He'd beat everybody, but only fight with home advantage so he can use illegal tactics like headbutts

He might not beat the best like Stevenson and Kovalev

He would just be a contender not a champion

He would refuse to fight at 175, he'd get the light heavyweights to weight-drain down to 168

He'd instantly be the best light heavy in the world so yes, he'd be successful

Yes. I think his style translates very well at light heavy. And as Dempsey said, he'd instantly be the best LHW in the world.

Personally I cannot say anymore. As a loyal fan I figured since cleaning out 168, he'd welcome the move. However he seems to be hell bent on not going to 175. I've always been a firm believer in action being the biggest truth. For whatever reason he does not want to go there. I find that suspect, just keeping it real.

He would beat everyone....the only fighter that I think remotely has a chance vs Ward at 168-175 is maybe GGG. Ward is still the favorite though.

Its not hard to understand why he doesn't want to go there. There's no real money there. The real money is at 160 and 168. He's a fighter, he fights for money and the better fights monetary wise are not at 174 and until recently, it was pretty much a weak division anyways.

GGG has less chance that that brawny Russian who just destroyed Cleverly.

Ward-Kovalev is the fight I want to see.

Ward's talking about Chavez Jr. Why? Who really wants to see that?
