You're missing the point: it doesn't matter who Canelo spars with. No sparring partner can truly prepare him for Floyd. If Canelo is going to win this fight, he's going to have to make his size an advantage. The fact that he weighs 166+ pounds 30 days before the fight should put to rest any notion that he's going to come in "lighter" and look to outbox Floyd.
Finally, I don't think Canelo lacks skill. I think he has above-average skill at a minimum and I look forward to seeing how good he really is as he fights better opposition and eventually moves up in weight. But let's be clear: saying that Mayweather is the most skilled fighter in the game, and that Canelo will have to beat him with size and strength, doesn't mean that you're saying Canelo doesn't have skill.
