A source within Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’s team has advised BoxingScene.com that unbeaten prospect Humberto “Tito” Ramos will be among the junior middleweight champion’s sparring partners to prepare him for his Sept. 14 pay-per-view clash with Floyd Mayweather.

Ramos (12-0, 7 KOs), a native of Mexico who now resides in San Juan, Tex., is an unbeaten boxer-puncher that has fought in relative obscurity.  The 25-year-old welterweight fought at the junior middleweight limit for the first time in April, outpointing Isai Monrreal south of the border in his hometown of Reynosa.
