Canelo Tabs Tito Ramos For Floyd Mayweather Sparring

By Ryan Maquiñana

A source within Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’s team has advised BoxingScene.com that unbeaten prospect Humberto “Tito” Ramos will be among the junior middleweight champion’s sparring partners to prepare him for his Sept. 14 pay-per-view clash with Floyd Mayweather.

Ramos (12-0, 7 KOs), a native of Mexico who now resides in San Juan, Tex., is an unbeaten boxer-puncher that has fought in relative obscurity.  The 25-year-old welterweight fought at the junior middleweight limit for the first time in April, outpointing Isai Monrreal south of the border in his hometown of Reynosa.

Yep gotta agree with Rigo for Canelo. For Canelo's sake I hope tito is just there for information or he's in for a shock.

Someone on here just mentioned Rigo as a sparring option. Wow,...that is the best advice. I agree with this person. If I were in charge of the Canelo training camp. I would pay Rigo a million dollars to spar throughout…
