Hopefully officials pop up youtube, play the knockout in slow motion, see that Sergei was buckled and practically jolted by that right hand to the jaw...the right hand that grazed his head was a simple formality in the midst of a combination and the heat of the moment...

A boxer will hit his opponent with the knockout blow...but that doesn't always mean that fighter knows it is THE blow that finishes it...they still see their opponent in front of them, they will throw another punch...and sometimes it so happens that their opponent is on their way down with their head turned as the next punch is being thrown...that's what happened here...

They're talking like Wilder saw the back of the head and was like "oh I should hit the back of his head to secure a knockout"

LMAO...Liakovich says that he was hit behind the head and then caught by a 1-2. LMAO, and then he says he's been checked out and is 100% OK. If that's the case, then he had get back to the hospital immediately and get seen by another doctor.

He clearly gets hit with a left hook, stumbles back, gets caught with another 1-2, falls into the ropes and then gets caught with a 1-2, falls back into the ropes again and then gets clipped behind the ear while he is on the way down.

His memories of that night are pretty far off from reality imo
