    This Site's P4P List (!)

    Top of the mornin', pugilistas!

New to the the forum. Liking it, but I think the nuttiest thing I've seen so far is the site's top ten p4p list (!) Other than that it's been pretty solid.

Don't know how many of you ever put together your own lists, but if you do (or would) I thought it could be fun to share & compare. I'll practice what I preach ... (Feel free to smash mine all to smithereens, LOL -- I'm not thin-skinned; I know the most disagreed-upon part of it will be having my #4 ahead of my #5)

    My Current P4P Top Ten:

    1) Floyd Mayweather
    2) Andre Ward
    3) Wladimir Klitschko
    4) Manny Pacquiao
    5) Juan Manuel Marquez
    6) Guillermo Rigondeaux
    7) Mikey Garcia
    8) Gennady Golovkin
    9) Vitali Klitschko
    10) Abner Mares

Next in Line: Nonito Donaire, Sergio Martinez, Leo Santa Cruz

After That: Timothy Bradley, Canelo Alvarez, Carl Froch, Lucas Matthysse

Keeping an Eye On: Adrien Broner, Keith Thurman, Erislandy Lara

Just clarifying that I don't include heavies in p4p lists, and if I did, Vitali wouldn't be on there. Wlad would though,

    Here goes:

    1. F. Mayweather
    2. A. Ward
    3. J. M Marquez
    4. S. Martinez
    5. M. Pacquaio
    6. G. Rigondeaux
    7. A. Mares
    8. N. Donaire
    9. C. Froch
    10. C. Alvarez/D. Garcia/A. Broner

          Hello, resident genius here.

          1) (Tie) Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao
          2)
          3) Guillermo Rigondeaux
          4) Sergio Martinez
          5) Abner Mares
          6) Mikey Garcia
          7) Nonito Donaire
          8) Saul Alvarez
          9) Lucas Mathysse
          10) Gennady Golovkin

Horable mention: Adrien Broner, Leo Santa Cruz, Francisco Estrada

Hugging cheaters like Mayweather and Ward have no place in boxing. Boxing is entertainment that's meant to make money.

My list is gonna cause a shitstorm so I won't post it. Basically I have a criteria

I judge fighters on a year by year basis and by form. If I do what everyone else does and judge by overall resume, then Hopkins would be consistently on it. Fact is, he's not on mine. Pacquaio is not in my top 10. He hasn't won a fight since 2011 (controversially) and lost his last 2. I also removed Mayweather when he took lengthy breaks.
If a fighter is inactive fora year without having a fight officially scheduled, they're removed. Vitali Klitschko and Andre Ward will have been inactive for a year come September so both are looking to be removed from my list.
I look into account context of the win, opponent and the overall performance of said win
