Cw have been around for a long time. Some of the legends of the sport have fought at them. Some care...some dont. Some times they are understanding. IMO...A man moving up in weight one or two divisions to fight for a title wants to challenge the champ within the limits of that division,,,as MAnny did Cotto. I dont have a issue with it. being that was Mannys first title shot a that division after coming up in weight.
Floyd on the other hand...Fought the 154 champ @154 with no CW and won the title. Boasting that he dont fight at catchweights blah blah blah...So now being the legit 154 champ...another legit 154 champ challenges him for his strap but with this 154 champ it has to ba at a CW?
