I also thought Pacquiao deserved to win a close fight because he was always going forward and he threw more punches and landed more punches. You won't change anyone's mind that thought Marque won.
Just watched Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 again.... lol at y'all crying

I'm sorry but using the excuse of this isn't amateur boxing to discredit Pacquaio out landing Marquez is very ******, not sure why you agree except that it follows your opinion.
Pacquaio landed more power punches, took less punches than Marquez meanwhile landing more on Marquez. I know people love to believe Marquez is a technical genious, but as it stands all the time he is thinking he is being punched in the face, and this fight is exactly that. Pacquaio was the constant aggressor, the more active fighter and the fighter who clearly caused the most damage in the 3rd fight.
Landing 1 clean shot does not out-weigh being hit by your opponenent with 3 semi-clean shots. For the record Pacquaio also lands clean on Marquez numerous times.
You can criticize the numbers all you want and claim you don't believe them, but regardless they are trained to record the punches (you aren't), and there have been hundreds of fights that compubox appears to have scored correctly (by viewing the fight and linking to the numbers).
Compubox, like everything, can have a margin of error, however I often hold more faith in it than the opinions of posters who can prohbit bias which clouds there judgement. Case in point you believe he landed the "cleaner" shots (what does that even mean?), meanwhile ignoring everything else apparently.
He didn't win that fight, it was not a robbery, the numbers by experts do not state it is a robbery, punch stats clearly do not state it was a robbery, and that's that.Last edited by T18Z; 08-12-2013, 08:46 PM.Comment

I thought Marquez won the 3rd fight but I don't think it was a robbery giving the victory to Pacquiao. Just like I thought Pacquiao should have been given the victory against Bradley but again I didn't think it was a robbery. The same people defending the victory for Pacquiao in the Marquez fight were acting like they had to sc**** Bradley off the floor to raise his hand. It seems like when a fight is close the boxer with the bigger fan base wants to write the result as they see it and discount anyone else's opinion including the judges in some cases.Comment

Bob Arum claimed that for him in a interview. Don't try and act like you sleepiao fans don't remember that. It was around the time Bob " I count all my pennies" Arum was planning his temporary stadium. Oh yeah is it done being built yet........

JMM clearly out boxed manny,, maybe its a draw,,, but jmm did not lose that fight,,,,,
only manny fanboys think that,,,
the crowd is usually never wrong,,, and everyone was booing manny,,,
close fight but jmm won that...
if it was a clear manny victory then why did they fight a 4th time,,, because every unbiased person thought jmm won a close fight,,,
and you can say that the it was a jmm crowd and thats why they booed but how come they had no problem when floyd beat jmm, or when jmm lost the 2nd fight,,,,,,,
jmm should have won,,, thats my story and im sticking to itComment

cleaner shots mean the more meaningful shots,, jmm on numerous occasions countered manny and snapped his head back,,,,I'm sorry but using the excuse of this isn't amateur boxing to discredit Pacquaio out landing Marquez is very ******, not sure why you agree except that it follows your opinion.

and what experts are you talking about,,, guys trained to watch punches,, gtfooh,,,, it doesnt take a genius to see which guy was landing cleanly and which guys was throwing volleys with no real effect,,,
just count how many times manny's head snapped back and he went to the ropes vs how many times jmm did that,,,,
jmm won the fight,,,,
anybody unbiased can see that,,, manny made a tactical error and tried to box the boxer,, hence why he came out guns blazing vs jmm in the 4th fight,, he knew he got lucky in the 3rd fight, when trying to outbox jmm
if manny won so cleanly, then why did they fight #4Comment
