I don't get the hate for broner as a fighter. He's an annoying young man outside the ring but in it he does what posters praise other fighters for... He stands in the pocket and trades. If rios does it he's a warrior. When broner does it he has no footwork. I'm a fan of both fighters. I do not feel that broner ran from rob gurrereo..... He was two classes up. Now rob Guerrero dictates when other fighters should move up? Jus cuz it worked out for him? And let's be honest if pat Russell didn't allow rob to hold and hit vs. berto the scoring may have been much closer. Berto was still was able to win rounds and badly swell rob up after giving away half the fight fighting the wrong style. I think broner makes rob look bad if they fight. This is not a good match up for Marcos.... Speed is not his friend. In two fights with fighters with comparable hand speed (khan and Alexander) maidana took clear l's. the key will be if broner can use his feet some. I'm not really down on broner for his résumé either... It's not like its uncommon for GBP to bring young potential stars along slowly (canelo, berto, Russell), but after this fight to have names like ponce de Leon, Paulie and demarco and maidana on your ledger at this age Isn't bad.

I can't wait for this fight, I think Maidana has a really good chance at getting the KO here, if Broner wins you guys have to give him his props. Maidana is no slouch he is one of the hardest hitters at 147 and he's showing improvement working with Garcia especially his jab. Broner didn't show he brought his power from 135 to 147 and Marcos is hard to hurt so if Broner wins he deserves full credit and I will say he is P4P materiel. Awesome fight much respect to Broner if he dares to step in the ring with Maidana.

I just can't seem to understand why a 3 division world champion with the ability to sale water to a well and fire to a stove is not worthy of headlining a PPV

AB is ready for the extra bright lights imo.....Chino is custom made for AB imo so I expect him to shine and put on a show worth paying for

He wouldn't have to run. He could give slight movement, while making sure his lead rights and counter hooks have enough snap on them to make Maidana respect him, which I think they would. I don't see anything other than target practice and a TKO by way of body shots from Broner. As much as I like Maidana, he's open to every single punch in Broners arsenal. You can expect Broners hair to get brushed in the post fight interview after this one.

Maidana may catch a stiff body shot or two, but he'll recover. And if Broner stays true to his word and doesn't run, this will be another KO for Maidana. Bonehead is too easy to hit, and Maidana has definitely improved with Garcia. Can't wait to see Bonehead dismantled. It will be one of the best things to happen in boxing in recent years.

after watching the maidana and lopez fight i still see broner winning by stoppage. Too much speed for maidana to over come and you can't fix a poor defense over night.

Broner has a better chance of scoring a ko than maidana. Have we even seen Broner remotely hurt yet?
