If the fight gets signed, Broner will get the credit for facing Maidana, but Maidana will stop him, so it will be a quality loss for Broner. Assuming he goes out on his shield, not on his knees, anyway.

Ok L Boogie. Maidana's heart is what I love about him, but I just think that Broner's style may be a bit too much.

We will see. On paper, Broner "should" be better, but I am betting on the fact that Maidana is a good enough boxer through Diaz that it will make a difference, and I am also counting on Broner making mistakes.

The kid took the fight, and now he has to prove to everyone that he can fight because Maidana will do whatever it takes to win. At least we're getting a great fight though.

Broner/Maidana is a 60/40 fight for Broner. He still gets credit for signing, if he signs. It's probably the second or 3rd best fight out there for Broner at this stage. I'd love to see a Matthysse or Guerrero fight. Broner wins this but it won't be easy, Maidana is rough and tough on the inside and hits pretty hard, even at 147.

If AB goes toe to toe like he says he will, it will play into Maidana's hands but Broner still has enough handspeed and stamina (underrated aspect of AB) to last the streth and pull out a win. Either way I wana see it.

Broner better run or he in serious danger, gotta use movement and holding/cliniching to beat Maidana and Broner doesn't really do that as he fights in the pocket.

Some guys say broner is the superior infighter up close but if he hasn't got enough power at 147 to hurt Maidana and Maidana is landing his own shots it could all come down to who hurts his opponent more i would give Maidana the edge.

If Broner is telling the truth about his tactics then he better pray he will be able to hurt Maidana enough to get his attention( Make Maidana step back) or it lights out.

so long as Broner doesn't trade or look for power he's got this won
Maidana can only hit what's right in front of him
Broner doesn't have to dance all over the place to do business here
just provide angles and throw fast flurries
