Broner is a punk a pansy and a primadona all rolled into one. That being said, Broner would prove a lot of naysayers wrong by taking on Maidana. It would be a good action fight that would probably last all twelve rounds and show if Broner is just another Al Haymon creation or the real deal. To be honest, I am wondering why this fight is not already signed?

Stylistic matchup favors Broner easily, but he's not proven at the weight and may not have enough power at 147 to deter Maidana. I'm very interested to see how this plays out, but no way in hell will I pay for the PPV.

He hasn't fought the best of any weight class and has pick and choosen fighters and he's only 24. One thing you can say about Mayweather, is that when he was young he didn't dodge anyone and cleaned his divisions out. Broner is a joke IMO until he fights someone like Mathysse, Thurman, Crawford ect. This PPV is hilarious and people would be ****** to buy it.
Demarco was considered the top guy at 135 when AB waxed him.

Lol that ain't saying much at all .. He's won nothing but trinkets , he still doesn't have a lineal title yet .. Gotta give Broner props for taking on maidana tho but I seriously doubt him going toe to toe with that monster of a puncher .. Ab will run I just can't see him going toe to toe maidana

Midgets??? You do realize that Demarco is like 3-4" taller than Maidana don't you?

As for Soto Karass. Not taking anything away from him. But it did take him 12rds to stop a one arm fighter. Just sayin'.

There was no established lineal champ at 30 and 35 when Broner was fightting in those divisions. And while we know Demarco is limited, he was rated #1 by Ring mag and considered the top beltholder at lightweight coming off his destruction of Molina. I'd say the belt AB took from him is a lil more than a trinket.

And to be honest, AB was blasted for jumping two divisions and fighting a top 10 welterweight belt holder. I doubt he would have gotten a much better reception sticking around and attempting to clean out the lightweight division.
