Yes, i equate the floyd-corrales fight with the jones-toney fight..

great wins for floyd and roy,,, they are the pros that stay in shape,,,

not making excuses but both toney and corrales were out of shape for those fights,,,
still great wins for floyd and roy,, not their fault toney and corrales arent professional enough to stay in shape, especially with a huge career defining fight looming

but it still flabbergasts me that corrales was a top 5-7 p4p guy... Yes at the time he was ko'ing guys left and right,,, but his skills were never that great,,, he was a helluva fighter, but never p4p material for me....
In hindsight I can see how you could feel that way but in 1999-2000, Corrales was a ****in animal. Garcia, Manfredy and Gainer got him were all good wins.

        I have no idea.

        How does he know?

Corrales has never stated as such and Corrales also said himself that the weight wasn't a problem.

This is actually the same interview where he stated that Mayweather and Canelo punch as hard as each other which is funny considering both statments are so clearly and obviously not true.

Exactly, nobody in NSB knows, i'll take Shane Mosley's word over any NSB poster though.

Shane Mosley has no reason to lie about something like that.

True, those were great wins for diego,

but i compare him to a GGG,,

GGG knocks guys out left and right, but i have a hard time putting him on my p4p list because i dont see defense, or stamina, and he has yet to beat an elite fighter,,
garcia, manfredy, and gainer good wins but none of those guys were elite,,, and around that time the p4p list was stocked,,
            oscar
            roy
            shane
            tito
            mab
            morales
            lennox
            tzysu
            prince
            hopkins

with freitas, casamoyer, corrales all being very close,,,

But its fine, if he was p4p at the time, i wont complain to much,, he was on a terror in that division.....

You can pick any of Floyd's wins, and judge them. He's won them all.

I actually think the Ricky Hatton win was a good win. Hatton was undefeated and in his prime. I believe he was number 10 p4p. The fight was rough for Mayweather all the way up to the TKO. I think up to that fight the only vulnerability Hatton showed was against Collazo. I picked this one over Marquez, who I think is better than Hatton, but that one was too one sided.

That Marquez win has really aged like fine wine. It's underrated.

Definitely the Gotti fight!!!! Gotti was a warrior at the time and Floyd not only schooled him but beat the hell outta Gotti. Floyd wasnt that big then and he made a statment. That was actually the first time i watched floyd fight.
