Nobody is questioning that any charity is good. I pointed this out but perhaps you didn't read to the end. I suppose i have to explain in simple words that it was an obvious PR stunt, and that those who are really charitable, don't do this sort of crap. Arum and family have founded and give major support to several major charities. And they don't say a word about it. I found out purely by accident when a charity I'm interested in sent me a list of donors and Arum was at the very top both alphabetically and amount-wise.
Then I did a lot of research

If you have to make a crude reply, do it to someone else. I don't use that sort of jingo-lingo.

As well, he supported the whole family for just as many or even more years.

And he never said a word about it. it only came out after Hernandez died and Mayweather tried to grab the headlines (his usual practice) by "offering" to pay for the funeral. There is no evidence that Mayweather paid for it. It's most likely that either Arum paid for it as a continuation of his support (he still supports the family) or funeral insurance (paid for by Arum) paid for it.

Arum is ***ish and the ***ish ethic regards charity as one of the 3 pillars of the Faith, with anonymous charity as being the most worthy.

But any kind of charity is a worth while thing which must be praised.
What Arum did was noble. Floyd and Hernandez fought. He won his first title from he man. For anyone to even think that something disingenuous went on is almost disgusting. The two were friends. Many boxers loved Hernandez.

The reaoning is that if they have to pay it as straight tax, they may as well get some reputation from it. Also there are other tax breaks which are available to those who distribute funds to charity.
I don't care what is proven to NOT be true. People who want to donate, donate period. Some for selfish reasons, some for good PR, and some from the heart. I don't care. They donate.

You just think that Floyd's fans will accept what you say about him true or not and should automatically stop liking the guy, and anyone you think defends him is a backside licker.
What you should most be concerned about is posting truth not your opinions cloaked as fact. This works with the majority cretins but not with others with a little intelligence AND KNOWLEDGE. What the ****ens do you know about the inner minds of anyone=other than yourself.?? Don't bother answering.

Just look at your silly statement "people donate who wish to donate". This is absolutely and provably UNTRUE. So why not either clarify or withdraw it?? Everything i say is either TRUE as I know it, or if opinion, I say so. You don't. I've read the wildest rubbish from you time and again, but never bothered to touch it. (maybe I didn't have the requisite "40 foot pole"handy). So, to avoid all the garbage,

I told you at the beginning I was not going to get into a keyboard battle with you. So any response from you will not be answered, after this one.

As long as your charity is kept under wraps, it's from the heart. The minute your charity is Tweeted or told to the public, it's a publicity stunt. That's the simple thought process of a pessimist.

I doubt your comment that "the two were friends". I distinctly recall and in this very site in a major article about the Hernandez' death. There was a comment from Mayweather as follows (paraphrasing) "I thought a while back that I should send him a little money, so maybe I'll pay for the funeral".

Now my common-sense makes me think, from that comment, that he had NO IDEA as to what condition of health that Hernandez was in, so couldn't have been a "close friend", and that it came about because the poor guy had actually died and it was in the public eye.. And another point that stands out, is that he never did send him any money, certainly not at a time when he and his family could make the best use of it.

Yes, Arum's actions show true nobility especially considering how villified he is. And i must day that I'm surprised to hear this coming from you. So that's a plus.
That villification, nearly always with NO foundation that I know of, is the only thing which makes me stand in his favour. For me and mine, it is normal to give charity anonymously. but the obscene and downright disgusting DREK that is poured on his head is just too vile to be coming from human beings, fans of the supposedly proud art of self defence.

Let this be the last post by me on this subject.
