You make more of that thatn you do of arum paying for Gennaro's expensive chemotherapy treatments for years, and as well, having one of his people pcik him up at home, drive him to the hospital wait until it's over, and deliver him back home again. As well, he supported the whole family for just as many or even more years.

And he never said a word about it. it only came out after Hernandez died and Mayweather tried to grab the headlines (his usual practice) by "offering" to pay for the funeral. There is no evidence that Mayweather paid for it. It's most likely that either Arum paid for it as a continuation of his support (he still supports the family) or funeral insurance (paid for by Arum) paid for it.

Arum is ***ish and the ***ish ethic regards charity as one of the 3 pillars of the Faith, with anonymous charity as being the most worthy.

But any kind of charity is a worth while thing which must be praised.

My recollection is that he was justly criticized by writers that he didn't know the Fraziers and was intruding most publicly into their private grief, and making sure it was well publicized, just showing up that the Fraziers were poor.

Again, as I recollect, the funeral had already been paid for by genuine friends and admirers. I think Ali was one of them.

I'll take any type of insult or punishment, but it always comes back to haunt the conspirators. Those are the words I've lived by my entire life.

You can think you're in control, but that is temporary. There is no charity given in that. Sometimes what you post can be how a tenth of a % of how you live your life. Maybe, maybe not. My posts speak for themselves.

Boxers love you fans, but they now how finicky you can be, even as a poster.
I really don't want to start a verbal war with you, and am telling you at the beginning. I just want to make the observation that even though you very clearly point out that you are not (I prefer to call it) a backside licker, you have done nothing else but perform that revolting action on your darling love...Mayweather for as long as you've been on this site. My opinion only of course.

I can understand this, but the critics went overboard. Does anyone have a quote from the family that Floyd offered to pay the funeral for? If the family came out and said that what Floyd did was disingenuous, then the above point is understandable-lesson earned.

Verbal war? You quoted my post. I'm talking boxing. When it comes to Floyd, the only thing that I've ever said about him in the ring is that he is the best fighter. What is said about Floyd outside of the ring is where I argue with most fanatical posters. Posters like you. You just think that Floyd's fans will accept what you say about him true or not and should automatically stop liking the guy, and anyone you think defends him is a backside licker.

thats good but the mayweathers need to lead by example. roger, sr as well as floyd need to finish the 5th grade to show that they're really serious of helping the poor with their education.

Your premiss that "people donate who want to donate" . This is very easly proven to be NOT TRUE. People of wealth constantly donate to Charities and do other "good deeds" that cost lost of money ONLY because it is helpful to both their public images and their tax deductions. The reaoning is that if they have to pay it as straight tax, they may as well get some reputation from it. Also there are other tax breaks which are available to those who distribute funds to charity.
