The people who make it "RING" know what it means, So clearly you don't as you think floyd is not number 1. Who can beat Floyd at WW today? Who can beat Floyd at JWW today? Who can Beat Floyd at JMW Today? Compubox.com Plus/Minus Stats tells you FLoyd is the best Pound4Pound.
    Hes Number1.

I believe that there are boxers in each of those weight classes that would give flaccid mayweather his first "0", he just avoids them like the plague. Does anybody realize that flaccid strategically chooses his opponents? It reminds me of how everybody is saying how Danny Garcia is scared of fighting Mattysse so he fights Mattysse. If Flaccid had that same warrior mentality of running with the bulls then there would be no denying that he is #1 and I would stop calling him flaccid mayweather.

On a side note, boxing judges and commisions are so full of shit,(Manny losing to Bradley is a perfect example) that rankings are meaningless. The only real way of determining who is #1 is based on what the public thinks.

For impressiveness, Marquez should be #1. Floyd hasn't done anything to impress for quite a while, excepting Cotto. (Floyd-Marquez was not a fair fight.)

your opinion has a conflict of interest because you hate Floyd. So you and most fans cannot judge Pound for Pound. Leave it to the Professionals.

aww, dw. You can have your Gatti list tho. LOL

or because if floyd were to fight marquez again, rite now, marquez would still lose which is why no1 wants to see that fight, even tho they are both campaigning at the same weight.

it all depends on how one interprets "p4p".... variations ive noticed:
                    • who would win if weight wasnt a factor
                    • based off performance/resume (annually)
                    • based off career influence

me personally, i factor in the top 2.... i tend to put more emphasis on "what have you done for me lately?".

i would place floyd @ #2.... SLIGHTLY above jmm. ward remains #1 for now, if floyd impressively beats canelo, then floyd reclaims #1. no disputes.

jmm loses again but it would be a closer fight... floyd would force jmm to fight out of character again. and jmm is simply too damn slow with his new bulk. if floyd gave jmm 4 chances like pac did, i see jmm beating floyd as well. HAHA
