I laughed at that. Joe basically follows Teddy's lead. I still enjoy Teddy's analysis, although he can be overly silly, but I've lost all regard for his scores by now.

Yeah, and just one walk in those games.

That kid is naaaasty, bro. A consistent 97 MPH fastball, coupled with a Frisbee-like breaking pitch that goes over for strikes whether the batter swings at it or not. Jose is looking incredible.

Franco is a second-tier Cuban boxer. Yet, he turned the glow down on a much-hyped talent. Fortuna's got a future, but he better forget about Gamboa at 130...at least for a while.

I actually stopped watching FNF for a while because I just cant stand Teddy's BS. I usually forget and start watching with the volume on a normal level. Eventually the volume level ends up going down to very low or completely muted. I definately have to DVR the fights because I have to be able to FF through Teddys pre fight 'show' and the commercials. Last night I ended up missing the last few rounds because of the power outage and tennis running late, so I was really interested to see what the outcome of the fight was, and since Teddy was so set on his card being right and the FB fans being idiots (according to his reaction). I'm certain though that he had the 3rd round a 10/10, because when I saw the despairaty between what Teddy had and the FB fans had, I wanted to see where he differed with their opinions. I have to admit I was glad that the FB fans were in such agreement against Teddys score. Sometimes I feel like Teddy thinks he's convincing the viewers of what's really happening (in HIS mind), and well obviously we got to hear last night what Teddy thinks about the fans opinions

Sorry about the rant, but this IS still a thread about what an ******* Teddy is, right??

Did you happen to catch the Barthelemy-Usmanee fight on FNF? Teddy had that fight wide for Usmanee. When the scores were read, Teddy blew a gasket! I don't think I've ever heard him go off like that. On my first viewing, I thought it was a close fight that could've gone either way. I re-watched it and still found it close, but in Barthelemy's favor. A couple of days later, ESPN's Brian Campbell wrote a piece about the controversial fight and expressed his opinion that Barthelemy won a very close fight.

Teddy is under the delusion that there must be incompetence/corruption if the judges disagree with him. He's looking increasingly incompetent himself in the judging category.

TBH, I'm not sure if I saw that fight or not because outbursts like that have become the norm with Teddy when the judges have scores that differ from his view.

He's been doing this "This is what's wrong with boxing" rant for a long time. The problem is that even if he were right in this case (if it was a bad decision), bad decisions happen every day in boxing, BUT..... you don't hear Teddy complain when he AGREES with the decision, if it was a bad decision but he was backing the guy. You hear him non-chalantly say "That one judges card was a little extreme but atleast the right guy got the decision".

Check out this doozy. This was the first time I ever saw him go coo-coo.

You're right; I've heard Teddy sound much more accepting of a wide score, as long as it agrees with his view. Ugh...just talking about this subject is making me sick of his broadcasting. And to think, I used to like the guy. lol
