Thurman can move yes but he's not that fast. He loads up on his punches as well. Thurman's Floyd's height with shorter arms so really he's not much bigger then Floyd. He's no threat to Floyd right now and I'd love to see Thurman vs Guerrero because I think Guerrero would give him some problems. Styles do make fights but Floyd's faced guys like Thurman so many times that I wouldn't even be interested in that match up.. All power, limited skill..
I think Guerrero is underrated, but he has the kind of aggressiveness that will likely get him killed against Thurman. Thurman knows how to box, has deceptively good defense and counters well, can't see Guerrero winning.

I don't know If Guerrero would win either but it's a good fight for both. Not impossible for Thurman to get a shot at Floyd but not any time soon he needs way more fights he needs to be discussing facing a Devon Alexander If anybody..

The Alexander fight is the fight I want for him, tired of Khan getting all these opportunities after looking horrible against what should have been showcase performances. So I agree with you on the bold.

Who knows? Maybe this is exactly what Lord Haymon wanted to happen in the first place -- an in house fight between either Broner or Thurman vs Mayweather. Why bother looking for outside opponents when you can make more money on in-house fights?

I think thurman is up and coming...a good solid boxer but he needs two top level fights at 147 to get floyds eyes on him let alone on his radar an even then i dont see thurman beating floyd.
            Interesting fight tho.

Thurman is on the right track,, he is exciting to watch, has al haymon connections, but he needs to have 2 or 3 more wins to get a chance at floyd.....
right now after canelo, the guys getting the shot at floyd will be
              1. danny/lucas winner
              2. bradley if he beats jmm and leaves top rank
              3. khan/alexander

thurman could be in line for 2015 but he will need to beat a ghost, ortiz, broner, maidana.. at least 2 of those guys to get a crack at floyd..

and if floyd isnt shot by the time he fights thurman,, floyd will make thurman look like corrales minus the knockdowns....

All it takes is 1 more loss and Khan will be on a milk carton along with Berto..

Maybe they could even fight each other in a battle of the brittle chins.

he needs to take big name fights from here on, start calling everyone out, the broners maidanas and guerreros. its all about making noise right now inside and outside the ring make it where they cant ignore you at all
