    mayweather jr via decision.
I agree with the decision, but we really don't know if Manny is really that "gone", I think the fight with Rios will be very telling.

Any changes of mind since Rios and Pacquiao discuss the fight?

People never seize to amaze me. Both Morales and Marquez both out boxed Pacquaio, but Floyd can't? Tell me what they can do that Floyd can't and what Floyd already did to one of them? I'm not even a huge Mayweather fan but y'all are out of line. Floyd wouldn't lose more than 4 rounds to even the best version of manny.

I see Manny working Floyd over in the first 4 rounds, but then Floyd manages to show off defensively and land a few straight right leads to get his respect...

The big thing here is that Manny isn't as easily discouraged, nor physically outmatched like Floyd's last bunch of opponents, so Floyd winning a few rounds with pot shots isn't going to stop Manny from trying to win

throughout the fight, Manny would be getting Floyd stuck against the ropes while Manny unleashes a combination which is guaranteed to happen so the be all end all of the fight would depend on whether or not Floyd can make him miss in these moments

I favor Floyd, but like Ali-Tyson, this fight isn't as easy to pick a winner as people like to pretend

Guerrero wasn't discouraged when Berto was hitting him with all of those uppercuts, but Floyd's lead rights and counter punching is what made him that way. When someone shows you that they have the ability to hit you, without you being ale to hit them back would be discouraging to any fighter. I remember Pacquaio not looking so confident when Marquez not only got up, but was out boxing him in the middle rounds of their first fight.

Now Manny is too slow, possibly gets stopped in the late rounds.
Everyone talks about all these "angles" with Pac, can you please tell me why he still couldn't convincingly beat a much lesser fighter in Marquez if they mean so much? Pac's "angles" mean d*ck against a great counterpuncher or pure boxer, hense the reason he fights the guys he does. When he fights anyone who shows him movement, he looks like dog doo and his angles mean nothing.

Excuse this for being a guess based on psychology, as I don't actually know what was going on in Manny's head but if I had to guess, after knocking him down 3 times in the first round, and easily... Literally all the fight in him must have washed away as his confidence skyrocketed, then once he realized things weren't going how he was expecting them to go, his confidence dropped back down to earth, which no doubt slowed him down greatly as to be expected. But he never stopped trying to win

In the second, third, and fourth fight, he never had that same look of discouragement as he struggled even harder with the same guy, without the luxury of having those early knockdown to sooth his nerves. He never stopped trying to win, including after getting clearly outboxed in the 3rd, and even knocked the fuck DOWN in the fourth

As u pointed out, Robert Guerrero was beating Berto against the ropes while Berto landed those punches, of course he didn't lose confidence. In the Floyd fight, Guerrero never stopped trying to win, he just didn't have the tools

Manny has the tools... He has fleet feet, fast hands, and devastating power... He threw great combinations from odd angles... He and Guerrero are not the same fighter at all... (well I guess they're both southpaws, but other than that)

if pacquiao gets past rios, i would rather see his last couple fights against guys like:

                      Broner
                      Matthysse
                      Maidana
                      Khan

or of course JMM 5, if jmm retires than a Bradley 2

i would rather see him go out with wins, than having a small chance to beat floyd. because if he loses again, its definitely retirement for pac
