It's a shame Floyd - Tszyu couldn't be realized.

And what happens on the night is anybodys guess , going alongwith your comments there are truck loads of guys that are faster and punch harder than the guys that KOed Manny , now you see how ****** your comparisons are .Thats not Floyd's game, he ONLY fights inside for any length of time when his back is against the ropes. And you forget, Hearns was LIGHTNING fast with his jab and right hand. Faster than Judah who won rounds against Floyd, and Mosley who rocked Floyd and Faster than Corley who wobbled Floyd, not to mention much more devastating of a puncher than any of those guys. Your scenario does not add up.Comment

He's too slow for Floyd, and he couldn't fight inside. Floyd is fast, and could fight inside if Kostya decided to walk in. I see no chance of Kostya ever beating a guy like Floyd.Comment

strongly disagree. if anything I think kostya fights better on the inside but mayweather would probably win a boring decision by potshotting on the outside and avoiding exchanges with the much more explosive tszuComment

Kostya could never fight inside. And if he came at Floyd like you thought that he would, he'd get his ass kicked. Kostya wasn't half the man Floyd was in the ring. Floyd won a fight, and gave the champ rematch. Kostya forgot about Phillips and Hatton.Comment

Kostya was fast enough primarily because he had great timing and his punches were short and crisp. Using his core strength, those economical punches also packed some pop. Basically he had great fundamentals. I mean, the man outclassed Vernon Forest as an amateur!
I think Floyd would've had a harder time countering someone like this effectively. And just like the way Kostya adjusted to Zab's movement and slickness, he'd find a way to break Floyd's defense eventually.
Intriguing to imagine, at least for me.Comment

He's never beaten a fighter of Floyd's magnitude. Beating Forrest in the amateurs with headgear on sounds good, but means nothing when talking about fights without headgear. Believe me, if I thought that Kostya would cause Floyd problems, I'd admit it that much, but imo he wouldn't stand a chance. He doesn't have the style or defense to beat a fighter like Floyd.Kostya was fast enough primarily because he had great timing and his punches were short and crisp. Well this right here tells you everything you need to know about Franks opinion. Kostya had excellent handspeed and defense for much of his career, he was Neo before the Matrix came out.Comment
