Kostya was fast enough primarily because he had great timing and his punches were short and crisp. Using his core strength, those economical punches also packed some pop. Basically he had great fundamentals. I mean, the man outclassed Vernon Forest as an amateur!
I think Floyd would've had a harder time countering someone like this effectively. And just like the way Kostya adjusted to Zab's movement and slickness, he'd find a way to break Floyd's defense eventually.
Intriguing to imagine, at least for me.
