No problem with the stoppage. Getting up with spaghetti legs will usually get you stopped

Unless Berto scored a knockdown of his own he would have lost by majority decision. Don't know where people are getting this ''He would have been robbed'' thing from.

It was an NABF sanctioned fight, a regional body for the WBC. They do have open scoring so I wondered what happened here, however the standing 8-count rule didn't matter here as he was knocked down.

I'm pretty sure we mean going into the last round, Soto-Karass would have gotten robbed if not for the knockout. Berto probably could have just danced away and somehow ended up with the decision with those scorecards.

Stoppage was fine! He was weak and had no legs!
Hell of a nite of boxing except for the young Japanese fellow taking way to many punches! Thats Texas & Florida for you they have no idea when a fighters life begins to become the focal point, they think its the wild west all over again!!!
Watched an older fight from Florida the other night with Santorie refing, that guy needs to be fired beforte he gets a fighter killed, he's a fool! Ray.

Berto deserved an 8 count, but he was about to obliterated! The stoppage may get him one more big fight, maybe a rematch Victor Ortiz.
