Will love to see that fight too. I don't like to call to many outcomes but I honestly believe that Thurman has what it takes to put a hurt on Broner!

That was a great and entertaining fight. I was rooting for Chavez who put up a great fight but Thurman proved that he is for real while putting up a good performance. I cant wait to see his next fight. I hope he does get Broner next.

BRIAN CASTAŅO will be the next big thing out of argentina...the kids ****in GOOD.
Chaves didn't look bad tonight and he was throwing some serious bombs. I'm not saying he's a great fighter but he fought well with bad intentions with his shots. Solid victory and learning experience for Thurman, imo.

Chaves has some serious potential. He needs to start training in the us asap.

you kidding me?? I know GB is putting on more high profile and better cards but look at this:

              Ruslan vs Bradley
              Rios vs Alvarado II
              Ruslan vs Alvarado
              Marquez vs Bradley
              Rios vs Pac

              those some solid ass fights

I agree but no way Thurman/Broner ever happens. Did anybody else notice Thurman was listed as 5'7/1/2"? I thought he was a lot bigger than that.

Thurman has the potential to be one of those long reigning belt holders no one wants to unify with.

Chaves got skills though, with a better trainer he could become pretty good.

I enjoyed the methodical pace of this fight, a lot of thinking from two guys who are known for knocking people out. The tense high-speed exchanges would've ended the fight earlier if either guy had no chin, so they were definitely tested in that respect. I'm glad to see that Chaves is more like Maidana/Matthysse and less like Saldivia. Thurman had to reach into his skill-set, fought a crafty fight and got the KO he wanted. Now he's in line for a title shot, so Broner/Maidana better beware.
